Are there management system(s) in place to support philosophies such as lean and Six Sigma?

This is my experience.Almost ten years ago I worked in a factory in italy where we were producing steel cylinders. I was placing the valve (checking all the time if the gun to place the valve had the right pressure) in the cylinders( different size and operational scope) therefore different valves. After that i was testing if the valve was leaking introducing a gas, liquid nitrogen, inside the cylinder as instructed as in the SOP. everything was very detailed and very organised. There was a Qbar code in the cylinder and you were able to know all the history( for exemple who did it , when and what was done).if the valve was leaking (putting a white soapy liquid around the valve waiting for it to create bubbles) i was just need to mark it and the cylinder was sent it back. We were doing almost 300 in every shift. We had three big markets, hydrogen cars/bus, hospital and scuba diving.by experience, i spent one here there, 1 max 2 faulty cylinder every 300 pieces)please see website: https://faber-italy.com/ The report should make reference to the topics covered in the module.
