ANALYSIS OF “SELF” USING THE GIBBS’ REFLECTIVE CYCLE INTRODUCTION (approx 150 words & include 2 paper review findings) Reflective Practice as a Counsellors – Understanding how the Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle can facilitate reflection for a Counsellor eg; How the Gibbs’ Cycle is a tool for counsellors to use. LITERATURE REVIEW OF THE GIBBS’ CYCLE (750 words & include up to 7 paper review findings) – An overview of the Gibbs’ Cycle, including its key components (six stages) and purpose – A discussion of its strengths and limitations as a reflective practice tool for helping counselling professionals. CONCLUSION (approx 100 words & include up to 2 review paper findings) – Summaries and add a further insight eg; the importance of self awareness (biases, judgement, ethnocentric), areas for potential growth & development (experience & education) for counsellors.
