Write a Rhetorical Analysis on The Hate U Give Novel.

The Hate U Give examines the way society uses stereotypes of black people to justify aggression and racism against them. Angie Thomas states that injustice will not be tolerated by anyone. She encourages that people should not disregard injustice and that they need to stand up for what is right. Thomas uses multiple appeals and rhetorical devices to help her audience learn that injustice should not be ignored. After having read The Hate U Give, compose an essay in which you analyze the rhetorical strategies that Thomas uses to convey her message about using your voice to stand up against injustice to her audience. Support your analysis with specific references to the text. Accurately illustrate the rhetorical situation as a framework for the claim regarding the rhetorical appeals/strategies being used in the text. 2. Analyze 1-3 rhetorical appeals or strategies being used in the text to advance the purpose of the writer. You should aim for an essay length that analyzes 2-3 rhetorical strategies. Each body paragraph is devoted to one strategy.

Body Paragraphs 2-3 should run the same as the body paragraph above.

3) Conclusion A. Why is the writer’s use of the rhetorical strategies analyzed above effective in advancing the purpose? B. Why is the purpose important to the context surrounding the writing of the text? C. What important connections can you make between text and self, text and world, and text and today?
